Our Doubles Club Nights are the heart of the club, offering a dynamic and competitive environment for experienced players. These sessions are designed for strong club and county-level players who are serious about improving their game and competing at a high standard.

With approximately 50 adult members, including a mixture of men and ladies, you'll be sure to get a good a number of levels and mixed games with a variety of partners and opposition helping develop you as an all round player capable of playing with and against any playing style!

To maintain the level of play, club nights are reserved for members. As a member, you’ll join a group of players who share your drive to excel, with opportunities to compete in Gloucestershire's local league.

If you’re serious about badminton and love the thrill of a fast-paced, competitive match, this is where you belong. 

The club utilises a bespoke digital peg board system:

• Games are automatically selected to be the best combination of balance, quality, and fairness based on the players available

• When a court becomes available, those players commit the game to a court

• When the game has finished, they type the score into the system

• The system then dynamically adjusts the player's skill rating tracking capability over time and ensuring games are always competitive
