Our Doubles Club Nights are the heart of the club, offering a dynamic and competitive environment for experienced players. These sessions are designed for strong club and county-level players who are serious about improving their game and competing at a high standard.

With approximately 50 adult members, including a mixture of men and ladies, you'll be sure to get a good a number of levels and mixed games with a variety of partners and opposition helping develop you as an all round player capable of playing with and against any playing style!

To maintain the level of play, club nights are reserved for members. As a member, you’ll join a group of players who share your drive to excel, with opportunities to compete in Gloucestershire's local league.

Interested in joining? We invite prospective members to attend a trial session to experience our high-calibre matches before committing. No need to book, just turn up and talk to one of our club committee or any of our friendly members.

If you’re serious about badminton and love the thrill of a fast-paced, competitive match, this is where you belong. 

The club utilises a peg board system:

• The player that sits atop the peg board chooses 3 other players from the following 7 to form the next game and places all 4 pegs in the "Next on court" space. 

• When a court becomes available, those players move their pegs to the space on the peg board that denotes the court they are playing on.

• When the game has finished, the pegs are returned to the bottom of the peg board waiting list with the winners being placed first followed by the losers.
